The Eskom power outage that was planned for 4 October 2023, has been postponed.

The new date is Tuesday, 24 October 2023 from 06:00 – 18:00. (The alternative date is 25 October).

The interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on the Hermanus substation.

Affected areas include Stanford, Gansbaai, Sandbaai and Hermanus.

Hawston, Fisherhaven, Vermont and a big portion of Onrus will not be affected.
